Clingi Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Clingi.
Clingi is a simplified customer (buyer) acquisition platform for independent businesses and individuals that sell products or services. By accessing or using Clingi as a channel to buy, sell or acquire new customers, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Payment Collection, Security, and Disbursement
- Payments are only collected by Clingi through its corporate account, Clinsignatures, to safeguard customers' funds, and to moderate smooth transactions to keep the both parties (Buyers and Sellers) happy.
- Clingi holds payment made by customers (buyers), and releases, or disburses it to the seller on the customer's approval within 5 hours after delivery, or after the 5 hours window if there's no approval/disapproval from the customer (buyer).
- Clingi (Clinsignatures) shall proceed to process payment to the seller without hesitation if there is no approval or disapproval from the customer within 5 hours after the product/service delivery. Any reports or complaints from the customer regarding the product/service after the 5 hours period will not be addressed.
3. Payment Notification for Delivery
- Clingi shall notify the sellers that the buyer (customer) has paid after payment proof is received from the customer (Buyer).
- Buyer (Customer) must send proof of payment, and the seller's name on the Clingi's platform to Clingi.
4. Payment Condition for Service Providers
- Service providers shall receive 50% initial payment of the total service payment made by the client to get the service started. The remaining 50% shall be paid on payment approval.
5. Payment Disapproval Condition
Buyers can disapprove sellers payment under any of the conditions below within 5 hours after product/service delivery:
- The product (Electronics) is functioning badly.
- The product (Clothing) is torn, or loose.
- The product is physically damaged.
- Service delivery is poor.
- This is not the product that you ordered.
5b. Payment Refund Request Condition
Clingi shall refund the buyer in 24 hours after request under this condition:
- The buyer must proof that his/her claim is true, and must be in alignment with the outlined payment disapproval conditions above (Product/Service).
- For service delivery, the buyer (client) will have to forfeit the 50% initial payment made to the service provider. (Such service provider will be delisted/removed from Clingi).
- For product delivery, the buyer must process the return of the product(s) back to the seller, and send the proof to Clingi. Clingi shall deduct its charges, and refund the balance.
6. Clingi Fee
- Clingi charges 7% for every transaction moderated.
- Clingi's 7% charge is capped at N25,000 for transactions above N358,000.
7. Disclaimer
- Clingi serves as a platform that connects buyers/customers to independent sellers or service providers. Additionally, Clingi acts as a mediator to facilitate smooth transactions to keep both buyers and sellers happy.
- Clingi shall not be responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any other aspect of the products or services offered by sellers.
- Clingi shall not be liable for any disputes arising between buyers and sellers.
- Transactions are not carried out on the Clingi platform. Sellers and service providers listed on Clingi are independent entities and not employees or affiliates of Clingi. Clingi does not sell any products or services to the buying audience.
8. Modification of Terms
- Clingi reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Clingi platform.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
By using Clingi as a channel to buy or sell, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
